Self-love also includes taking care of one's physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Few of us are taught about the practice of self-love, and quite often is is not encourages as has been misinterpreted as being self-absorbed or selfish. 

However, if you struggle to love yourself, it can be hard to feel loved or to give love unconditionally. 

Here are 8 simple steps you can take to begin this important process.

  1. Practice self-compassion and kindness towards yourself.
  2. Identify and challenge negative self-talk and limiting beliefs.

  5. Take care of your physical health through exercise, nutritious food, and adequate rest.

  7. Connect with supportive and positive people.
  8. Practice mindfulness and self-reflection to cultivate self-awareness and personal growth.
